Social Media Manager

Job Overview: The Social Media Manager is responsible for all social media accounts of Chazak Rescue. He/she will be in charge of what the general public sees from Chazak Rescue. In addition, he/she is expected to represent Chazak Rescue professionally at all times.  This job also ecompasses the role of a part-time photographer.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Create and post content for all social accounts with help from the PR team and Chazak Staff. 
• Photograph Chazak-related activities and events as needed.
• Apply/manage the editing and storage of Chazak-related photos.
• Interact with people on our social platforms who show interest in Chazak Rescue.
• Ensure all content is aligned with the Values and Vision statement of Chazak Rescue.

Qualifications:

• Experience in content creation/social media is preferred but not required. Self-motivated. 
• Willingness and ability to research and create content regularly.
• Have an eye for attractive graphic design and photographs.
• Agree with the core values and statement of faith for Chazak Rescue. 
• Display a willingness to learn and grow in his/her area of responsibility.

Compensation:  

‍We cannot offer this as an immediate paid position. There is currently no budget for this position. We are continuing our search with the understanding that a potential hire would either need to:
-Wait to start until funding is available,
-Raise their own support,
-Work as a volunteer until funding is available.
