Join us for a hands-on trauma response course focused on one of the most critical life-saving skills: stopping life-threatening bleeding. Stop the Bleed is a national initiative led by the American College of Surgeons that equips everyday people to provide immediate care before professional help arrives.

Participants will learn how to recognize and respond to severe bleeding, apply tourniquets, pack wounds, and act quickly in high-stress situations. Anyone can attend, but only ten people can receive official certification due to instructor availability. Certification will be given to the first ten confirmed applicants, so early sign-up is encouraged.

This training includes realistic trauma scenarios. We are also looking for volunteers to serve as simulated victims during the exercises. No prior experience is necessary.

What you will learn
How to control bleeding using pressure, wound packing, and tourniquets
How to recognize when to act and what to do in the moment
How to respond to accidents, natural disasters, or violent incidents with confidence

Cost and supplies are covered through free-will donations. Volunteers are needed for scenario participation.
